Covid-19 Update
Dear Convergence Family,
For the safety and health of our audience, musicians, and community, Convergence Ensemble has postponed the remainder of its 2019-2020 season during the COVID-19 crisis.
The decision to postpone the remainder of the 2019-2020 season was not an easy one and is guided by the recommendations of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the World Health Organization (WHO).
During this time, Convergence is pioneering new ways to share music with the community. The Ensemble has created virtual learning programs to continue serving young people and students in the greater Boston area and is also working to produce artistic programs for the home audience. We are digitizing our archived recordings and videos from past concerts, making them available on streaming platforms.
We look forward to presenting concerts again when it is safe to do so. Convergence has always been wholly committed to creating safe and accessible concert environments. The COVID-19 pandemic has not changed our commitment—in fact, the pandemic has made us reassess our practices, finding improved ways to serve our community.
Thank you for your continued support, and we can’t wait to bring more music to you.
With care,
Convergence Ensemble
