Use your business expertise to help Convergence Ensemble provide excellent musical experiences!

Convergence Ensemble provides programming of the highest quality, featuring a diverse collection of musicians and artists from various disciplines. We present concerts for communities throughout New England that often have limited access to such programming. Our intention is to work collaboratively with performance venues and educational institutions to provide programming consistent with their goals and needs. In addition, we consider it important to give talented, young, emerging musicians and mature, established musicians the opportunity to work with and learn from each other.

The board will support the work of Convergence Ensemble by providing mission-based leadership and guidance, financial oversight, promoting the organization’s public standing, and ensuring its legal integrity.

In this position, you would:

  • Attend a minimum of minimum of five board meetings per year (either virtual or in-person)

  • Advise CE’s strategic and financial direction

  • Serve a three-year term on the board

  • Access to private events and rehearsals with Convergence Ensemble artists

  • Special trainings about nonprofit governance, anti-racism, and other applicable topics

  • Social connection and community with other board members

  • Recognition on our website and in our programs for each concert
