TIME: 4PM
ADDRESS: New School of Music - 25 Lowell St, Cambridge, MA 02138
Celebrate the power of artistic collaboration and support Convergence Ensemble at our special benefit concert, “Words and Music”—an afternoon where poetry and music spark a vibrant dialogue. Immerse yourself in a unique program featuring the evocative poetry of Charles Coe, award-winning writer and cherished Executive Committee Board Member, woven together with enchanting performances by internationally acclaimed classical guitarist Aaron Larget-Caplan.
In this intimate gathering, Charles Coe brings his own innovative poetry to life, joined by the words of literary greats like Langston Hughes, Walt Whitman, Emily Dickinson, Robert Frost, D.H. Lawrence, and Mark Twain. Each poetic moment is echoed and expanded by the expressive range of Aaron Larget-Caplan on the guitar, as he offers both dazzling original compositions and breathtaking renditions of classical masterpieces—from Bach to Cage and beyond.
More than just an afternoon of poetry and music, this benefit concert is a celebration of Convergence Ensemble’s mission to foster creative conversation and bring transformative performances to our community. Your presence and support directly impact our ability to present adventurous programming and strengthen the artistic fabric of our region.
Join us for an inspiring experience, knowing that every note and word helps sustain the future of Convergence Ensemble. Reserve your seat today, revel in the beauty of live performance, and make a difference for the arts!
